火打石のようなスモーキーな香り、ジビエ肉、黒コショウ、スミレの花、ダークチェリー、そして高地のハーブの爽やかさ。
テクスチャーはシャープで軽やか、引き締まったタンニン、白コショウと赤系チェリーのフルーティーさ。
枝やドライハーブ、下草の風味が奥行きを与え、樽の使い方も控えめで絶妙。
驚くほどのフレッシュさ。イタリア系のワインを思わせる雰囲気もありつつ、しっかりシラーらしさも。

From Rende Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, now under care of Vanguardist. A distinct wine that brokers a new conversation about McLaren Vale shiraz.
Flinty whiffs over game meat, black pepper, violet floral lift, dark cherry, with some alpine herb flightiness. Almost crisp texture, lithe, cinching tannins, white pepper, red cherry fruitiness with cool, fresh lines and general sense of energy and drive. Gentle twiggy elements, dried herbs, undergrowth lending seasoning – oak very well played. The freshness here is something else. Italianate feel, with syrah credentials.
