From an estate with growing vineyard holdings in Greve in Chianti, the Vignamaggio 2018 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Monna Lisa opens to an inky dark garnet appearance. This is a certified organic wine. The bouquet is lifted and bright with dried cherry skin, wild plum and hints of fragrant blue flower and balsam herb. The wine's bright personality over such pretty concentration is what sets it apart.
