The palate is elegant, refined and dynamic, closing with a balanced, spice-tinged finish that showcases a lifted texture and fine tannins. During my extensive tasting at Montes, I found this wine to be one of the range's highlights, particularly among the Bordeaux varieties presented.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"sc-goWbiv loNZbm\"\u003eThe substantial Montes portfolio spans traditionally rich, seductive wines such as Purple Angel and Alpha M labels, an accessible range of bottlings under the Alpha line, and the more contemporary, linear Outer Limits range. Along with purchased fruit sources, production centers around their Colchagua estates in Apalta and Marchigüe, while the Outer Limits bottlings derive from the Zapallar site in Aconcagua Costa.
