Rating: 89+ Parker Points The 2021 Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon is leafy and vibrant on the nose, with aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, licorice, black pepper, anise and nori. In the mouth, the tannins create an angular shape around the fruit, which is, as the nose promised, silky. Overall, the palate feels firm and defined by its tannic presence rather than by bright fruit, but it certainly cuts a serious shape in the glass. It is smart and leafy/herbal, a class act. 14% alcohol, sealed under Stelvin. |
