The 2021 Chardonnay is inchoate but possessed of the same austere yet juicy acid line that is present in all the Chardonnays at this estate. The fruit is delicate and saline and swarms around the phenolic structure. It is estery, floral and lacy. Time will do much to unfurl this wine; in the meantime, drink the 2020.
