Deep, rich red/purple colour, with a rich, ripe and attractive bouquet of complex, subtly spicy fruit with savouriness and minerally-stony nuances. These re-appear in the mouth, where it has depth and richness backed by abundant firm savoury tannins, earthy-ironstony on the lingering aftertaste. Very good wine of its type: firm, seriously structured, savoury, drying and cellarworthy. Good value
