Each vintage, Chief Winemaker Andrew Quin creates a limited-release single block wine that captures the individuality of the vintage and a selected vineyard site. Continuing Hentley Farm’s longstanding collaboration with Adelaide Central School of Art, a selected artist interprets the wine’s story through their own artistic practice, creating an original work for the release.
This year’s artistic interpretation comes from multidisciplinary Adelaide artist Cassie Thring, who has created a collection of 200 individually hand-sculpted and painted clay figures. No two are alike, with each capturing its own character and expression while celebrating the people behind every bottle, those who grow, make, pour, share and savour wine.
Four figures from the collection have been selected to feature across the bottle labels, bringing together the individuality of Q Block with Cassie’s exploration of people, creativity and connection.

Berry basket aromas of wild forest berries, blueberry and raspberry are layered with dark chocolate and delicate purple florals. The palate displays vibrant cranberry and blueberry fruits before unfolding into a long, layered finish, where dusted cocoa and subtle slate notes linger.
